Follow-up

Tadi ada follow-up dgn Mr. Samy, surgeon. Nampak jer Mr Samy, terus melalak. Mmg dari dulu lagi, asal tgk muka Mr Samy, mesti meraung2. Z sedar kot time diorang operate tu? (Masa diorang surung keluar theater mmg Z dah sedar pun)

Anyway x de la dia check apa pun.. Luka surgery mmg dh pulih sepenuhnya. Cuma bab muntah2 tu jer la..

Kebetulan sejak semalam Z muntah2 balik. Dia muntah sekali jer, tapi tiap kali makan, baru 2-3 sudu mulalah dia meloya2. Air liur menjejeh2, tersangap2 terus dia refused utk makan. Minum susu ok jer. Last 2 weeks pun jadi jugak.

Very similar to what had happen before. Z bukanlah jenis yg selalu muntah. The first 2.5 year of his life dia cuma muntah 4-5 kali jer kot. Until last december when he started having those symptom. Sebab tu lah mama risau.

Mr Samy kata, from what he has found during surgery (lots of adhesias) mmg expected it will happen again pun. :((

So sekarang we just have to try to delay the need for next surgery jer la. Kena make sure The bowel not blocked again. Tiap kali dia muntah, kena bagi fluid jer until there is bowel movement. But this is only temporary management jer la.. Sooner or later it will become worst and another surgery will be needed.. Scary, but at least we know what to expect..

Recovery Phase

Z had surgery yesterday for small bowel obstruction. Alhamdulillah he is recovering now.

We went through the worst week of our life so far. If somebody could have listen to me since the past 2 months, thing wont be this bad ;(.

I feel so upset, angry and scared for my child. The pain that he had for the past few days were unbearable even for m to watch..

Anyway, what hv to be done is done. Will blog about the details story later. Now we must focus on Z's recovery process. Hopefully he will be back to himself soon.

Winter Bugs?

Sejak 2 hari lepas, Z asik muntah2 jer kalau makan. Memang dah hampir 48 jam tanpa solid food. Makan 2-3 suap jer, then dia akan start meronta2 n melalak2. Menjejeh2 air liur. Pastu muntah. Projectile vomiting. muntah yang tersembur tu. Memang keluar habis apa yang di makannya :(. Semalam mama buat bubur nasi yang super cair tu pun Z muntah jugak.. Mama dah try fruit puree pun x boleh.. cereal pun x boleh.. pening mama fikirkan condition Z nih.

Papa suspect vomiting bugs. Sebab sekarang nih memang ramai budak2 (dan orang tua) kena Winter Vomiting Bugs. Tapi yang heran tu Z tak de diarrhea. Pastu lak minum susu ok aje. Cuma solid jer x boleh. Lepas muntah, Z memang akan lembik and terus tertido.. Bila dia bangun, dia akan happy seperti biasa balik. No fever. Bila suapkan makanan jer dia akan start meloya2 dan muntah semula.

Disebabkan condition Z yang masih ok, papa kata tak perlu bawak ke hospital lagi. Kalau kat hospital pun diorang akan buat drip utk treat dehydration jer.. Tapi mama risau. Mama risau takut2 stenosis (usus). Z kan memang pernah ada masalah usus dulu. Memang posibility utk bermasalah tu ada. Lagipun Z belum poop sejak 2 hari lepas ;(.. Papa pula kata kalau pegi hospital for stenosis problem, memang sah2 diorang akan terus buat drip and macam2 test. Tak kisah la confirm ke tak masalah usus tu.. Dia tak sampai hati nak tengok Z kena cucuk sana sini.. Kesian Z katanya.. So, kita monitor dulu di rumah, harap2nya hanyalah bugs. As long as Z masih active dan belum dehydrated, he will be at home.

Cuma tu la.. Kesian Z.. Lapar sangat dia. Minum susu every 2-3 hours. Tapi mana kenyang kan.. Asik2 pergi dapur jer keje dia.. Mama nak makan pun x sampai hati sebab nanti Z mesti akan kemam2 jugak.. sigh.. Kalau hanya virus, cepat2 ler kamu pergi. Kesian anak mama kelaparan....huhu.

3rd appointment with Dr Bava - HSB

today i met with dr. bava lagi.. just normal check up. Dr. haliza (training specialist) pun ade..

so, we just confirmed the date as before;
08/08/10 - Admission (harap2 i could stay in private single room rather than normal ward so hubby can tag along)
09/08/10 - Appointment with Mr. Mohan - Paed Surgeon (the only specialist in northern region) with hubby n Dr. Haliza (dr. bava wont be around on the 9th n 10th)
12/08/10 - booked for C-section huhuhu.. (will meet my baby!! yeay!!)

Dr. Bava tanya lagi if im interested to do the amniotic reduction procedure tu since keaadaan saye yg bertambah sarat nih.. again, rasanya i could wait for 1 more week.. i dont want to risk the baby.. demi baby, InsyaAllah i will try to be strong.. Ya Allah, permudahkanlah perjalananku ini.. aminnn..

then mcm biasa, they perform the full scan on the baby. baby growth is normal. baby dh weighted 2.7kg. uish, boleh tahan jugak utk premie ni.. kalau nk tunggu full term, mmg bengkok ler mummy sbb bulan2 terakhir slalu mmg berat baby akan naik mendadak..hehehhe

btw the double bubble sign is still there.. they think its a definite duodenal atresia based on the shape/location of the bubble. tapi dr. heliza kata nampak mcm ade connection jugak between the 2 bubbles, so there is still hope that its not the complete obstruction InsyaAllah..

oh, this time i bring my thumb drive so dapat ler copied some 4d scan videos from Dr Bava computer.. will try to upload it soon..
